We had a wonderful stay at CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa. My husband and I truly enjoyed every aspect of our experience. The food was excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently high quality. The classes were engaging and well organized, and we appreciated the opportunity to try activities that we would not typically have access to at home. The staff stood out as especially knowledgeable and professional; it was clear they were well educated in their respective fields, which added to the quality throughout the resort. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained, and our room was immaculate—comfortable, peaceful, and impeccably clean. Overall, our stay was both relaxing and rejuvenating. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a thoughtfully designed experience, and we can’t wait to return.

Best gluten free, vegan muffins I have ever eaten. Husband loves the blueberry muffin better than traditional recipes. My favorite is the zucchini muffin. I cant eat eggs, dairy and eggs, such a joy to have tons of options on the menu. We live in Cave Creek and ride our bikes there, so blessed to have them local.

My first experience at Civana was a great one! I was looking for a wellness retreat/resort that offered all of the classes, such as yoga, meditation, and spa services. The property is very nice and well maintained. The food outlets were very good and great variety of healthy food. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be returning in January!

We came here to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful experience overall. It’s a beautiful hotel with lots of activities, especially if you enjoy yoga, wellness, and spiritual-style relaxation and spa experiences. We also had a couples massage that was absolutely amazing. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can get a bit crowded at times, so I would recommend choosing your dates carefully if you’re looking for a quieter, more private atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great hotel and a lovely place to relax and celebrate a special occasion.

Had an amazing (albeit too brief) stay this weekend. Beautiful and peaceful grounds with a great spa, awesome classes, good food, and friendly staff. Especially appreciated my massage with Thea (Who gave me the best massage of my life and I’ve had a few), Damien and Eric and the restaurant for being super friendly and accommodating, and hiking guides Mark and Cullen. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful experience staying at this wellness resort. So clean, peaceful. The staff were amazing always willing to help and gave great hospitality, recommendations, and support. The classes are just right between the sweet spot of pushing you yet allowing you to have boundaries. A+ experience, would definitely recommend and return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa from Friday through Monday on a somewhat impromptu trip we planned only four days in advance, and we had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, quiet, and very clean, with plenty of space to relax. Even though we booked last minute, we were still able to get into several classes and activities, including a few we had been waitlisted for. Our room was also very nice and spotless. What truly stood out was the amazing staff. Kathleen at the front desk kindly helped check my boyfriend in early when my flight was delayed by five hours and the reservation was under my name. We also had a fantastic meal at Terras with Yolanda (highly recommend the Eggplant) and had a blast doing the high ropes course with Abe. The biggest thank you goes to Yessica in housekeeping. On the morning of checkout I unknowingly lost a one-carat diamond earring that even though was insured, I was devastated to have lost. I didn’t realize it wasn’t in my ear until I was almost at the airport and promptly called the resort. Yessica immediately organized a search, and although it wasn’t in our bathroom as I originally thought, her team eventually located it elsewhere on the property near the restaurant/lobby. I am incredibly grateful to Yessica and the CIVANA team for going above and beyond to return something so meaningful. I will absolutely recommend this resort to everyone I know. You will arrived stressed and overstimulated and leave with a sense of calm, connection and with a restored faith in humanity.

Just came back from 5 days at Civana Wellness Resort and Spa. The service here was OUTSTANDING. From the front desk, to the restaurant, the instructors, the spa service providers... I've never experienced anything like it. I am so grateful to everyone who made our stay feel incredibly special! Our one bedroom suite was huge. Slept 3 but could easily have slept 4. (ask for linens and extra mattresses for comfort on the pullout couch). The spa was heaven. Each treatment was better than the last! The spa pool was mostly full of folks resting and retreating, mostly quietly respectful, even on a busy holiday weekend. Book classes early. We booked ours two months in advance and got everything we wanted. People who waited were surprised to find so many classes full when they got to the resort. This is because they keep the classes to manageable sizes, which makes for a great experience! We did several classes/experiences you had to pay extra for, and I got the sense they tried hard to make those classes really "worth" the extra cost. The food at Terras was good! I was worried because I'd read some reviews that suggested otherwise. But I enjoyed everything I ordered... Sure, it's expensive, like most hotel restaurants these days, but we paid for the all-inclusive package partially so we wouldn't have to feel stressed about the prices. The only thing that would bump this resort up is if it backed up onto some kind of hiking trails. You cannot hike off property; it is surrounded by a residential neighborhood. You can sign-up to go on a hike nearby, which is definitely worth doing, considering the amazing natural landscape, and the guides who teach you about the history and natural phenomena in the area are fantastic. I am already dreaming of the day I can return to Civana!
